Comic convention stars descend on Wrexham

A HOST of film and television celebrities will descend on Wrexham this Sunday for a comic convention, now in its second year.

The event, which will features stars from fantasy and sci-fi, takes place at the William Aston Hall.

This year’s guests include Danny John Jules, who played the Cat in Red Dwarf, Bruce Hopkins, who was Gamling in the Lord of the Rings trilogy, Kenny Baker, aka R2D2 in Star Wars, and no less than three stars from Dr Who spin-off, Torchwood, Gareth David Lloyd (Ianto), Kai Owen (Rhys) and Katie Wix (Rhiannon).

Throughout the day there will be talks, question and answer sessions with the guests, photoshoots, autograph signings, face painting, stalls selling memorabilia and collectables, and stunt displays….
